The Cotter High School girls’ basketball team had a rough outing Monday in the Arvest Bank Tournament at Flippin. The Lady Warriors fell to Mammoth Spring 57-46. The Lady Bears were led by Brianna Hocum with 19 points and ten rebounds, Terra Godwin scored 14 points, and Lauren Mitchell grabbed 15 boards. Mammoth Spring remains undefeated in nine games on the season, and their semifinal opponent on Thursday will be Jasper.
Mountain Home’s eighth grade boys began the Pirate Classic in Branson on a tough note. The Eighth Grade Bombers lost to Logan-Rogersville 42-31. Luke Proctor was Mountain Home’s leading scorer with 11 points.
