State Police promotes Boone County man

A Boone County man, 45-year-old Corporal Bobby Clemence, has been promoted to the rank of sergeant with the Arkansas State Police. Clemence will assume duties as assistant commander of the department’s Aircraft Division, headquartered at Little Rock.

The announcement and approval of the promotion came last Thursday during a meeting of the Arkansas State Police Commission.

Sergeant Clemence is an 18-year-veteran of the department.
