MHHS continues basketball season at Siloam Springs

The Mountain Home High School basketball teams will wrap up the week on the road. The Bombers and Lady Bombers will head to Siloam Springs on Friday.
Both girls’ teams from Mountain Home and Siloam Springs are currently 0-1 on the season. The Lady Bombers began the season Tuesday with a loss at Fayetteville, and the Lady Panthers fell to Heritage at Rogers.
This will be the first road test of the season for Mountain Home’s boys. The Bombers are 0-1 after falling at home to Paragould on Monday. Siloam Springs is also 0-1 after losing Tuesday to Heritage.
The junior varsity boys’ game tips off at 5 p.m. Friday’s varsity games can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com beginning around 6:00.

In other high school basketball, Norfork hosts Izard County, Yellville-Summit travels to Bakersfield, Bruno-Pyatt makes the trip to Mount Judea, St. Joe heads to Fox to meet Rural Special, Lead Hill travels to Deer, Bergman entertains Kingston, Omaha makes the short trip to Alpena, Western Grove heads to Green Forest, and Mountain Home Christian Academy will compete in the Riverview Invitational Tournament at Forsyth.
Dora’s boys will take part in a jamboree at Alton. The Falcons will meet Summersville at 5:00, Thayer at 5:30 and Alton at 7:00.

On the junior high level, Valley Springs is home against Rose Bud.
