A double stabbing involving two females has been reported in Douglas County.
According to a release, the Douglas and Wright County Sheriff’s Offices received calls regarding the double stabbing just south of Mountain Grove in eastern Douglas County in the area of AE Highway.
Douglas County Sheriff Chris Degase and Wright County Sheriff Glenn Adler apprehended 23-year-old Jeremy Delk of Mountain Grove from under a porch at a residence in the area of the crime.
Delk is now incarcerated in the Douglas County Jail on two counts of first degree assault, two counts of armed criminal action and one count of first degree sodomy, all felony offenses.
The charges carry a $50,000 cash only bond.
Both females were treated and released from a Springfield hospital.
