A Mountain Home man, 39-year-old Casey Jones, was killed in a one vehicle accident Saturday evening on Highway 126 South in Baxter County. A report from the Arkansas State Police does not state the exact location. The southern portion of Highway 126 is located off Highway 62/412 in Baxter County and ends in Buffalo City. The Northern Portion runs from Highway 5 North in Midway to Highway 62/412 in Gassville.According to the report, Jones was southbound on Highway 126 South when his vehicle left the roadway, struck a guardrail and overturned. Jones was ejected from the vehicle.
Weather conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the 8:07 p.m. accident.
