FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) – Arkansas coach Bret Bielema thinks it would benefit the school to remain “constant” with him as the head coach after this season, particularly with a flurry of Southeastern Conference coaching changes expected.

Tennessee and Florida have already parted ways with their former coaches, and Bielema’s future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks – particularly following Arkansas’ firing of athletic director Jeff Long last week.

The Razorbacks (4-7, 1-6 SEC) have lost nine of their last 13 games dating back to last season, and they host surging Missouri (6-5, 3-4) on Friday.

Arkansas is 29-33 overall in five seasons under Bielema, including a mark of 11-28 in the SEC.
