Lone Rock Volunteer Fire Department burglarized

The Lone Rock Volunteer Fire Department was burglarized recently and over $8,000 worth of radio equipment was stolen. According to an incident report from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, made available Monday, the burglary happened sometime between Saturday, November 11th and Wednesday, November 15th.

The Chief of the Lone Rock Volunteer Fire Department, Dale Bonnett, says someone forced the front doors open and when inside kicked the office door open. Items taken include mobile and portable hand-held radios, two defibrillators and a spotlight.

Chief Bonnett was able to provide serial numbers for all of the stolen items.

The report says there are no suspects at this time.
