It’s the third week of the postseason for high school football in Arkansas, and Salem is the lone school representing the Twin Lakes Area. The Greyhounds will be on the road for the quarterfinals of the Class 2A State Playoffs as they face conference foe Earle.

Salem went into the postseason as the fifth-seeded team from the 2A-3. The Greyhounds are currently 6-5 on the year after their second round win last week at Palestine-Wheatley. Earle finished the regular season as 2A-3 conference champions. The Bulldogs played their first playoff game a week ago when they defeated Mineral Springs to improve to 9-1.

This will be the second meeting of the year between Salem and Earle. The Greyhounds began conference play at home over two months ago by falling to the Bulldogs 46-6.

Kickoff at Bulldog Stadium is scheduled for 7 p.m.
