(MIAMI) — College football’s seventh-ranked Miami Hurricanes may have suffered a tough break on Wednesday, with wide receiver Ahmmon Richards being carted off the field during practice with an apparent injury.
Miami (10-1), is preparing for the Atlantic Coast Conference title game against top-ranked Clemson (11-1) on Saturday night. The Hurricanes previously lost tight end Christopher Herndon to a season-ending knee injury just days earlier.
The Miami Herald reports Richards was surrounded by players and head coach Mark Richt as trainers tended to him.
