Gassville woman arrested after selling meth to informant

A Gassville woman, 50-year-old Jill Renee Neal, was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant Wednesday for allegedly selling 1.5 grams of methamphetamine to a confidential informant in August. Neal is being held in the Baxter County Jail on a $7,500 bond.According to the arrest warrant, dated August 25th, on March 28th the informant was instructed by Neal to meet her at a business in Gassville, located within 1,000 feet of the Gassville City Park and the Gassville Community Center, to purchase the drug. The transaction occurred with the use of a cell phone.

Neal was charged with felony delivery of methamphetamine and unlawful use of a communication device.

She also faces charges of being a habitual offender and an enhanced penalty for proximity to certain facilities. She is scheduled to make an appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court to answer to the charges.
