The high school bowling season got started Monday and Mountain Home began the season by splitting their matches with Flippin.
The Lady Bombers opened their season with a 13-0 victory. The Lady Bobcats were led by Stephanie Pennington with a 137 and Sidney Brown with a 134.
In the boy’s match, Flippin defeated Mountain Home 7-6. Gavin Bishop had games of 165 and 163 for the Bobcats and Joshua Henley rolled a 163.
Norfork won their season openers over Brookland at Jonesboro.
In the boy’s match, the Panthers were 10-3 winners. Russell Salyer shot a 216 and Dawson Gray had games of 180 and 174.
Norfork won the girl’s match 7 1/2 to 5 1/2. Candace Anderson rolled a 215 and Macy Dillard added a 140.
