Several Christmas events will be held this week in Calico Rock including visits from Santa Claus.
Activities will begin Thursday afternoon at First National Bank of Izard County. Santa will make a grand appearance and bring some special guests along with him.
The Living Windows will be displayed along Historic Main Street Saturday evening beginning at 5:30. Santa returns for the Lighted Christmas Parade as it begins at 6:45 from the Calico Rock Museum and Visitor Center. The parade will travel along Main Street onto Arkansas Highway 56 and end at the Calico Rock Volunteer Fire Department where Santa will be available for photos.
