In high school basketball Wednesday night, the Battle of the Border or BOB Tournament continued at Mammoth Spring High School.
In boy’s action, Cotter defeated Koshkonong 64-45 and Calico Rock out scored Mountain View-Liberty 75-62.
On the girl’s side, Calico Rock whipped Koshkonong 64-40 and Gainesville crushed Couch 71-42.
The Izard County teams had mixed results at the Lyon College Tournament in Batesville.
The Cougars improved to 13-0 on the season with a 73-52 win over Cave City. Justus Cooper had a huge night for Izard County with 42 points and Caleb Faulkner scored 20.
The Lady Cougars were eliminated from the tournament with a 70-45 loss to Batesville Southside. Abby Brashear pumped in 28 points and Maura Thomason grabbed 14 rebounds.
