A Henderson man, 38-year-old Nathan Garrison, has been arrested after he was found in possession of items recently reported stolen by his neighbor.

Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery says on November 20th deputies took a report of the theft of a skill saw, chainsaw, archery bow, two leaf blowers and a weed eater from a shop building on Porter Circle in Henderson.

On Monday, the victim observed at his neighbor’s residence a skill saw and a weed eater that appeared to be the ones taken from his shop building. The neighbor had worked for the victim in the past.

Baxter County Sheriff’s investigators arrived at Garrison’s residence and after being advised of his Miranda rights, the Henderson man turned over all of the items, except for one leaf blower and one chainsaw.

Garrison was arrested and taken to the Baxter County Detention Center. He has been charged with felony counts of breaking or entering and theft of property.

His bond was set at $5,190, and he is scheduled to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court later this month.
