Weather permitting, both lanes of State Highway 178 across Bull Shoals Dam will be closed from 8:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.

The closure will allow movement of equipment needed to refurbish the tainter gates. During this closure one lane will remain closed from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. the following morning.

State Highway 178 across Bull Shoals Dam will be reduced to a single lane of traffic until fall 2018. Additional road closures of up to two days will be scheduled every four to eight weeks to allow for moving equipment as work progresses. Motorists are advised to allow extra time to reach their destinations.

More information about this project is available by contacting the Corps of Engineers Mountain Home Project Office at 870-425-2700.
