The Mountain Home High School girls’ basketball team wrapped up the Fayetteville Bulldog Classic in dominating fashion. The Lady Bombers invoked the mercy rule as they beat up on Springfield Hillcrest 57-18 to finish in seventh place.
It was all Mountain Home from start to end. The Lady Hornets didn’t hit their first field goal until the second quarter. The mercy rule went into effect the moment the fourth quarter began as the Lady Bombers posted the 39-point victory.
All-tournament selection Hannah Pfeifer scored 16 points to lead Mountain Home as they improve to 4-5 on the season. Hillcrest falls to 1-5.
The Lady Bombers will travel to Harrison on Friday.
