MHHS boys among local basketball teams in action Tuesday

Basketball makes up the local Tuesday schedule as the Mountain Home High School boys will be back on the road. The Bombers will be in Centerton as they meet Bentonville West.
Mountain Home is currently 2-6 on the season. The Bombers are coming off a one-point loss to Sylvan Hills Thursday in the Cyclone Classic at Russellville. Bentonville West is undefeated in five games on the year. The Wolverines last played a week ago when they had a 30-point win over Huntsville.
The junior varsity game tips off at 5 p.m. The varsity contest begins around 6:00 and can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com.

In other high school basketball, Cotter hosts Mammoth Spring, Norfork travels to Salem, Flippin makes the trip to Viola, Yellville-Summit heads to Berryville, Bakersfield’s boys travel to Norwood, the Gainesville girls entertain Forsyth, Lutie is home against Riverview Baptist Bible Christian, Dora hosts Couch, Calico Rock entertains Izard County, Melbourne’s girls make the trip to Walnut Ridge, Marshall heads to Bergman, Timbo travels to Concord, Mountain View makes the trip to Newark to take on Cedar Ridge, Rural Special is home against Greers Ferry West Side, Lead Hill hosts Omaha, Western Grove entertains Mount Judea, and Jasper heads to Deer.

Mountain Home’s three junior high boys’ teams will be on the home floor for the second consecutive night as they face Batesville. The seventh grade game tips off at 4:30 followed by the eighth grade and freshmen contest.
