Public’s assistance needed in locating burglary suspect

Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery is seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with five separate incidents of burglary, break-ins and thefts, who may be armed.

Sheriff Montgomery says the suspect, David Michael Fiss, whose last known address was in Briarcliff, was last seen driving a white Dodge pickup truck. Fiss may still be in possession of a stolen firearm, a .410 shotgun.

Charges of residential burglary, breaking or entering, criminal mischief, theft of property, criminal trespass and felon in possession of a firearm are anticipated. Fiss is also a habitual offender.

Anyone with information about Fiss’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office at 870-425-7000.
