MHHS basketball teams finish road stand Friday at Harrison

The local Friday schedule is filled with high school hoops as Mountain Home will wrap up its current road stand. The Bombers and Lady Bombers will renew one of the state’s oldest rivalries as they meet up with Harrison.
Mountain Home’s girls are currently 4-5 on the season. The Lady Bombers’ last game was Saturday when they beat up on Springfield Hillcrest in the seventh place game of the Fayetteville Bulldog Classic.
The Mountain Home boys come in to the game with a mark of 2-7. The Bombers went to Centerton on Tuesday and suffered a six-point loss in a physical game with Bentonville West.
The junior varsity boys’ game tips off at 5 p.m. The varsity contests begin around 6:00 and can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com.

Both of Timbo’s teams will take part in the Pangburn Classic on Friday. The Tiger boys meet Augusta at 7:00, and the Timbo girls will be paired with White County Central at 8:30.

Elsewhere, Cotter hosts Viola, Norfork travels to Brockwell to face Izard County, Flippin makes the trip to Mammoth Spring, Yellville-Summit entertains Huntsville, Bruno-Pyatt is home against Oark, Bakersfield hosts Chadwick, Gainesville’s boys take on Thayer in Memphis, the Dora boys head to Cabool, Salem entertains Calico Rock, Melbourne travels to Pocahontas, St. Joe makes the trip to South Side-Bee Branch, Marshall heads to Valley Springs, Mountain View is home against Harding Academy, Rural Special travels to Western Grove, Bergman hosts Berryville, and Omaha makes the trip to Jasper.
