A Boone County man was arrested this week on charge of rape. According to Boone County Sheriff Mike Moore, 37-year-old Michael Hutton of Harrison was booked into the Boone County Jail Tuesday, and he remains incarcerated with bond set at $100,000.
The incident allegedly surrounds a case reported through 911 by an adult female acquaintance of Hutton. Deputies located Hutton in the Harrison area and took him into custody, and a confession was reportedly obtained in the investigation led by Boone County Investigator Jeff Thompson.
