The Peitz Cancer Support House has been offering yoga classes to the local community, and more opportunities to participate are on the way. The free classes will be offered four days each week beginning in January with the chair yoga classes set for Monday and Wednesday, the beginner’s class on Tuesday and the gentle yoga session on Thursday.

Peitz Cancer Support House Coordinator Melissa Hudson and certified yoga instructor Rebecca Smith were recent guests of the Talk of the Town on KTLO-FM. Hudson says yoga can have a positive effect on the health of anyone, including cancer patients.
