MH teams both play for third place, Norfork in title game

The 1st Arkansas Bail Bonds Tournament wraps up its three day run at Bomber Gymnasium with a full day of games Friday. Both Mountain Home teams will play for third place while the Norfork girls will play for the tournament championship.

The Mountain Home boys will take on Hamburg in the third place contest. The Bombers are 4-9 on the season while Hamburg is 9-5. The game starts at 1:30.

The Lady Bombers will follow at 3:00 as they face Farmington for the third place trophy. Mountain Home is 7-6 on the season while the Lady Cardinals enter the game with a 9-2 record.

In other girl’s games Friday, Norfork takes on North Little Rock at 6:00 for the tournament title, Highland goes up against Watson Chapel at noon for fifth place and Rose Bud takes on Paragould at 9:00 for seventh place.

In boy’s action, Paragould plays Watson Chapel at 4:30 for the tournament championship, the fifth place game at 10:30 has Batesville playing Farmington and at 9:00 in the auxilary gym, Rose Bud goes up against Brinkley for seventh place.

The Gainesville girls will play for the tournament championship in the Mountain Grove Holiday Tournament. The Lady Bulldogs face Thayer at 7:00 for the title.

The Dora boys head back to Cabool to finish play in the Cabool Holiday Tournament. The Falcons take on Mountain View-Liberty at 6:00 for third place.

The Cornerstone Bank Holiday Tournament continues in Berryville. In girl’s action, Bergman plays Bald Knob at 12:40 and Jasper meets Valley Springs at 3:20. In boy’s games, Bergman plays Pocahontas at 11:20 and Valley Springs takes on Central Arkansas Christian at 2:00.
