Citizen calls and postings on the Stone County Sheriff’s Tip Line have led to the arrest of two individuals on residential burglary and theft of property charges.
Stone County Sheriff Lance Bonds says 32-year-old James Aaron Shelton and 31-year-old Madison Angel Malnar, both of Fifty Six, are in custody awaiting formal charges from Prosecutor Holly Meyer.
Photos of the two were posted on the Stone County Sheriff’s website as persons of interest in a theft on Hedges Road in the Fifty Six area.
Sheriff Bonds says during the course of the investigation, Shelton was also linked to another burglary in Judsonia.
