Two Douglas County residents suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident Friday evening in Ozark County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 18-year-olds Denton Burnett and Riley Willis of Ava were transported by ambulance to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield from the accident scene three miles east of Isabella.
Burnett was the driver of the pickup truck traveling eastbound on U.S. Highway 160, and Willis was his passenger. The truck ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned. No condition report was available from the hospital for either Burnett or Willis.
Burnett’s truck was totalled in the 9:15 p.m. accident.
