Mountain View man arrested after found hiding in a closet

A Mountain View man, 59-year-old Robert Lee Deoser, was taken into custody Wednesday night, by Mountain Home Police, on felony drug charges after he was found hiding in a closet during a probation visit. Deoser is being held in the Baxter County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.According to Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manual, officers went to an undisclosed residence in Mountain Home looking for a subject who had an outstanding warrant. At the residence Deoser was found hiding in a closet. They found several hundred dollars of folded money on the floor. There were two plastic bags inside the folded money, one field testing positive for methamphetamine, weighing .7 of a gram, and the other containing a green leaf substance weighing approximately 1.5 grams. Deoser had a used syringe in his pocket.

In the same room officers discovered a set of scales and a glass jar, containing a glass pipe and a syringe, on a dresser.

Manual says several probationers and parolees with outstanding warrants were also located during the visit. The affidavit of probable cause for arrest does not list their identities.
