The FIRST robotics game for the 2018 season is set to be revealed Saturday morning at 9:30.
Jackie Basinger, Mountain Home High School EAST Facilitator and FIRST Robotics Team 16 Faculty Sponsor, says the name of the game is said to be Power Up. Basinger says based on a released teaser video, it should be focused around an arcade-like game.
Mountain Home Team 16 Bomb Squad will be hosting a viewing of the game reveal at Dunbar Auditorium on Saturday morning. The doors will open at 9:00, and the event should be completed by 11:00. The public is welcome to attend.
Founded by Baxter Healthcare Corporation and Mountain Home Public Schools, Bomb Squad is a high school robotics team competing through the FIRST Robotics Competition.
FIRST encourages high school students to learn engineering and business principles from professionals.
