A registered sex offender from Searcy County has been arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s officers for failure to comply with registration requirements after it was discovered he has been staying at Hillwood Apartments #8 in Flippin.

Online court documents from the Administrative Office of the Courts indicates 29-year-old Matthew Ribolzi was convicted of internet stalking of a child in 2013 and sentenced to 120 months of probation for the offense.

According to the probable cause affidavit made available Thursday, Ribolzi is said to drive a BMW motorcycle and a silver minivan. A check with Searcy County authorities indicates Ribolzi had not notified them he was staying in Marion County. Searcy County authorities also said Ribolzi had advised them he did not drive any vehicles.

Ribolzi’s bond was set at $2,500, and he is set to appear in Marion County Circuit Court later this month.
