Kristin Miller of Mountain Home appeared in Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday where she pled guilty to drug-related charges and was given three years probation.

The 41-year-old Miller was arrested by a Mountain Home Police officer after a traffic stop for a defective taillight.

During the stop, Miller and her passenger, Anthony Payne, both admitted having smoked methamphetamine not long before the stop was made.

A glass smoking pipe was found on Miller and she is reported to have turned over a small plastic bag containing methamphetamine.

Miller was sentenced under provision of Act 346, meaning that if she stays out of trouble during her probation period, she can apply to the court to have her record sealed.

Payne, who was on parole at the time of arrest, is scheduled to make an appearance in Circuit Court January 11th.
