MH woman enters guilty plea to drug charges

Therese Taecker of Mountain Home entered a guilty plea to drug-related charges and was placed on 10 years probation during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.

Taecker was arrested in the early morning hours of August 22nd last year when a Mountain Home police officer observed a traffic violaton and stopped a vehicle being driven by Taecker on State Highway 201 North.

The 39-year-old Taecker was found to be operating the vehicle on a suspended driver’s license.

After she was arrested, the officer inventoried the contents of the vehicle and found digital scales with narcotic residue, syringes loaded with a clear liquid, a bag containing what was described as a white crystalline substance that field-tested positive for the properties of methamphetamine and $384 in cash.
