Mountain Home basketball standout signs with C of O

A member of the Mountain Home High School basketball team has signed to play at the next level. Hannah Pfiefer signed a national letter of intent Thursday afternoon to play college basketball at College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout.

Pfiefer leads the Lady Bombers this season by averaging 16 points per game. She has made 68 three pointers and is shooting 40% from beyond the arc. She says she’s looking forward to playing for head coach Becky Vest.

College of the Ozarks is a NAIA Division 2 school. Their women’s team is 20-1 on the season, ranked number three in the nation, and has scored 100 or more points three times this season and have scored in the 90s six other times.

Hannah Pfiefer is the daugter of Cindy and Alex Burg.
