Norma Lou Barnett, 77, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Friday, January 19, 2018. Norma was born in El Paso, Texas and had a career with AT&T that started in the 60s at Bell Laboratories in New Mexico. She chose Mountain Home to be her retirement place and was an active volunteer/member of First United Methodist Church, Audubon Society, Friends of the Library, and Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was a faithful Dallas Cowboys fan, loved hiking and tending to flowers in her garden. Her most treasured time was relaxing on her pontoon boat in Lake Norfolk with friends and family.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents George (Daddy) and Rubye (Mamie) Hubbard, grandson Sean and her beloved rescue pets, Sadie, Annie and Mercy. She is survived by her son, Greg; daughter, Brenda and her husband Todd; 2 grandsons, Justin and Zachary; 2 granddaughters, Kiersten and Kenlen. A memorial service for Norma will be held on Saturday, March 31st, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Conner Family Funeral Home in Mountain Home (2833 Highway 62 West).
