Passport through the Library features China in January

The Donald W. Reynolds Library serving Baxter County is inviting children to explore China this month through the Passport through the Library program. Parents are invited to bring their children to pick up a passport, and children can earn stamps by learning about China through the library’s activities.The library will host the Cultural Culinarian on Monday. Kids in kindergarten through third grade can attend at 4:00 p.m., and tweens in fourth through sixth grades are invited at 4:30. Local youth will be able to try spring rolls, fried rice and more.

Tweens are invited back to the library for a Make it! session January 29th from 4:00 to 5:00. Tweens will have an opportunity to create a Chinese New Year drum.
