A Mountain Home man, 25-year-old Joseph Stephen, was killed in a collision Monday evening when his vehicle crossed the center line of the highway and struck a car head-on.
Arkansas State Police Trooper Nathan Litty reported the accident occurred on State Highway 177 in the Jordan area at 8:33 as Stephen was traveling north. The identity of the driver of the second vehicle was not provided in the report.
The report notes the weather conditions were clear, and the road was dry at the time of the accident.
