A search warrant for a residence reportedly housing stolen property was served at 925 Buzzard Roost Cutoff in rural Mountain Home Wednesday afternoon, and three women were arrested as a result. According to Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery, 34-year-old Brianna Marie Cothern, of Bull Shoals, along with 22-year-old Taylor Lynn Dewitt and 22-year-old Audrey Lynn Saari, both of rural Mountain Home, were taken into custody and booked into the Baxter County Detention Center with bonds set at $15,000.

Montgomery says the search warrant was obtained after investigators received information stolen property was being stored at the residence. During the search, officers encountered the three women. They also found a handgun, ammunition cans with ammunition, and an iPad  stolen during a residential burglary on Buford Road reported January 12th.

In addition to the stolen property, officers found drugs and drug paraphernalia, including methamphetamine, marijuana, scales, and baggies used to package drugs. All of the items were seized and taken into evidence.

All three face the same charges of felony theft by receiving, possession of drug paraphernalia, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Saari faces an additional felony charge of possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine.

Dewitt has been released on bond. The other two are still in custody as of Thursday morning. All three are scheduled to make an appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court in February.
