5 Flippin FBLA students place for state competition

Nine students from the Flippin High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)chapter competed at the District VI FBLA spring conference on the campus of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home Monday.

Club Sponsor and High School Business Teacher Jessie Jefferson says five of the nine students placed in their categories and will be competing at the state level.

Allen Campbell placed second in introduction to business.

Marshall Beyer and Wyatt Flippin placed third in global business as a team, while Cassidy Butcher placed third in public speaking.

In addition, Brady Vandersteen placed fourth in introduction to business procedures.

FBLA is the oldest and largest student business organization in the United States. FBLA’s mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.
