Six drug charges have been filed against a Mountain Home woman, 42-year-old Bobbie Watroba, who was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center Sunday evening following an arrest by Arkansas State Police.

Online records from the Administrative Office of the Courts made available Thursday morning indicate Watroba has been charged with three felony drug offenses, along with three misdemeanor drug offenses.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Arkansas State Police Corporal Britt Clements was conducting stationary patrol at State Highways 5 and 126 when he observed a vehicle pulling a trailer with no trailer lights.

Watroba was a passenger in the vehicle driven by an absconder from the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections. While information indicates both Watroba and the driver were arrested, online records do not contain an affidavit having been filed on the driver of the vehicle.

A check of the Arkansas Crime Information Center revealed Watroba was wanted in Marion County on charges of criminal mischief and theft of property.

An inventory of the vehicle revealed a black pouch in Watroba’s handbag. The handbag contained a glass smoking pipe with a white residue commonly used to ingest methamphetamine, a clear plastic jar with two plastic baggies containing a crystal like substance, a glass smoking pipe with heavy residue commonly used to ingest marijuana and a wooden box commonly referred to as a dugout. The box contained a metal smoking pipe.

Bond was set at $7,000.

On Tuesday, an affidavit was filed in connection with an incident in Marion County.

According to the probable cause affidavit, a Marion County sheriff’s deputy responded to an incident in early January on Highway 62B in Flippin involving past renters. The officer learned Watroba was one of two individuals who had been staying at the rental property. He was advised the duo had left owing rent and had damaged property.

In addition, items valued at $1,629 were reportedly taken from the rental property.

Watroba was charged with felony counts of theft of property and first degree criminal mischief. Bond was set at $2,000.

Online records from the Administrative Office of the Courts indicate Watroba was arraigned in Marion County Circuit Court Wednesday where she entered a plea of not guilty to the theft and criminal mischief charges.
