Winter WX Advisory in effect, ice accumulation probable

The National Weather Service in North Little Rock has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for north central Arkansas and southern Missouri beginning mid-afternoon until 6:00 Wednesday morning. Freezing rain and some sleet can be expected. Total ice accumulations of up to two tenths of an inch are likely, however meteorologist Dylan Cooper says that amount could be greater.

Friday will be sunny and warmer. Friday night there is a slight chance of showers increasing to a 40 percent after midnight with a low of 34.

There is a 50 percent chance of light snow Saturday morning transitioning to rain Saturday afternoon.
