A student of Timbo School is accused of making threats to cause harm to others in the school. Stone County Sheriff Lance Bonds says the 17-year-old juvenile was taken into custody Friday and transported to a juvenile holding facility.

After the sheriff’s office received the report, investigators responded to the Timbo campus and conducted interviews with staff and students concerning the allegations. The unidentified suspect was taken into custody following the interviews.

Sheriff Bonds has enlisted the assistance of the Arkansas State Police and the 16th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney’s Office to resolve the case. The investigation continues, and Sheriff Bonds says details will be made available when appropriate.

Timbo School is one of three campuses in the Mountain View School District.
