A few local high school basketball teams went to Morrilton Monday to begin the Class 1A State Tournament.
Rural Special’s girls advanced to the second round. The Lady Rebels defeated County Line by a final of 70-61.
The Lead Hill girls watched their season come to an end. The Lady Tigers fell to Concord 67-51.
Omaha won its opener on the boys’ bracket. The Eagles beat up on Maumelle Charter 70-47.
In Missouri, West Plains’ boys watched their season come to an end at the Class 4, District 9 Tournament in Marshfield. The Zizzers lost to Bolivar 58-47. West Plains’ final record is 10-16.
