The season begins Tuesday for a couple of Mountain Home High School’s athletic programs.

The soccer teams will begin the 2018 campaign at home. The Bombers and Lady Bombers will welcome Green Forest to Bomber Stadium.
The Mountain Home boys are coming off a year in which they fell one win short of a perfect season. The Bombers went 18-1 last year with their only loss coming to Siloam Springs in the Class 6A state championship match.
Mountain Home’s girls finished last season with a record of 12-7-1. The Lady Bombers’ season ended in the first round of the Class 6A State Tournament at Siloam Springs when they were upset by Benton.
The junior varsity boys’ match kicks off at 4 p.m. followed by both varsity contests.

The Mountain Home High School softball team will be on the road for its season opener. The Lady Bombers begin the campaign at Springdale.
Mountain Home is looking to improve on its 6-15 record from a year ago. The Lady Bombers lost in the opening round of the Class 6A State Tournament at Benton at the hands of Lake Hamilton.
The varsity game begins at 5:00 followed by the j.v. contest.
