Clay Cotter of Mountain Home pled guilty to drug related charges during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday and was sentenced to 15 years probation. He was also ordered into the Care Center Ministries program for addiction treatment.

The 34-year-old Cotter was one of several people arrested in March last year when officers executed a search warrant at a place of business along County Road 273 known as American Auto and Diesel.

Large quantities of drugs, including psilocybin mushrooms, were found in the shop building, along with drug paraphernalia.

Many of the items of drug paraphernalia were found in a room in the building where Cotter maintained a bedroom. He was also found to have $7,400 in cash on his person. The money was forfeited to the state.

Cotter is to enter the Care Center Ministries as part of his plea agreement and to complete the organization’s treatment program.
