Two area teams were in action Thursday in the Class 1A State Tournament at Morrilton.
Western Grove’s boys were able to win their opener in the tournament. The Warriors defeated Strong 59-54.
The Jasper girls watched their season come to an end in the first quarterfinal game. The Lady Pirates were edged out by Mount Vernon-Enola 48-47.
