Catherine Donna Cross of Flippin entered a guilty plea to a number of drug-related charges and was sentenced to five years probation during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.

The 42-year-old Cross was arrested by Mountain Home Police in mid-April last year when a vehicle, in which Cross was a passenger, was stopped. The driver was found to have a number of active warrants and was taken into custody. The officer also reported seeing Cross trying to hide a small plastic bag in her pants. Cross admitted to the officer that the bag contained “dope” which the officer noted was slang for methamphetamine. The substance did field-test positive for methamphetamine.

In addition, the officer located a glass smoking pipe and five pills which were identified as Oxycodone. According to court records, Cross has a history of drug-related arrests dating back to 2006. She has spent time in the state prison system twice on manufacturing and delivery of illegal narcotics.
