MH softball team at home Friday, baseball team on the road

Baseball and softball make up a portion of the local Friday schedule.

The Mountain Home High School softball team will be back at McClain Park to wrap up the week. The Lady Bombers will meet Central who comes to the Twin Lakes Area from Little Rock.
Mountain Home is currently 3-2 on the season. The Lady Bombers’ previous game was Thursday when they defeated Springdale.
The first pitch at Freedom Field is scheduled for 4:30. The varsity game can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com. There will be a junior varsity contest afterward.
Elsewhere, Cotter travels to Imboden to face Sloan-Hendrix, Flippin makes the trip to Bergman, Salem and Melbourne will begin action in the Mustang Madness Tournament at Midland High School in Pleasant Plains, and Omaha hosts Eureka Springs.

It’s another road trip for Mountain Home’s high school baseball team as they take on Fayetteville. The varsity game begins at 4:00 followed by the j.v. contest.
In other high school baseball, Flippin heads to Eros to play Bruno-Pyatt, Yellville-Summit travels to Valley Springs, Viola makes the trip to Cave City, Bergman heads to Berryville, and Omaha travels to Alpena.
