Baseball and softball make up portions of the local Friday schedule.
The Mountain Home High School softball team will spend the weekend in Harrison. The Lady Bombers are set to take part in the two-day Ozark Softball Classic. Salem will also take part.
Elsewhere, Cotter travels to Eureka Springs, Norfork hosts Hillcrest, Gainesville will participate in the Summit Tournament, Dora entertains Plato, and Mountain View is home against Riverview.
In high school baseball, Norfork hosts Hillcrest, Bruno-Pyatt entertains Viola, Bakersfield makes the trip to Eminence for a wood bat game against Lesterville, Gainesville heads to Cabool, Dora travels to Licking, Salem and Mammoth Spring will play in the Ozark Baseball Classic at Harrison, Marshall is home against Bergman, Mountain View hosts Riverview, and Lead Hill entertains Valley Springs.
Mountain Home’s junior varsity team will be at McClain Park as they play a doubleheader against Melbourne. The first game at Pitts Field begins at 4 p.m.
