The biggest event in professional bass fishing is being held this weekend in Greenville, South Carolina, and some local boat manufacturers are in attendance displaying their products to the public. Flippin-based Ranger Boats are among the brand names represented at the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society’s (B.A.S.S.) Geico Bassmaster Classic.
Ranger’s marketing director Matt Raynor says they have several boats on display.

Ranger Boats will be at the event through late Sunday afternoon when the final weigh-ins begin. Ranger has been a brand of White River Marine Group, LLC, who purchased it in 2014. White River Marine Group, owned by Bass Pro Shops, also acquired Midway-based Legend Marine in August of last year.
