Baseball and softball make up the local Monday schedule.
In high school baseball, Yellville-Summit travels to Gainesville, Viola makes the trip to Strawberry to meet Hillcrest, Salem hosts Sloan-Hendrix, and Izard County entertains Highland.
The Mountain Home freshmen team will be at McClain Park for a doubleheader with West Plains. The first game at Pitts Field gets underway at 4:30.
On the softball schedule, Salem is home against Sloan-Hendrix, and Melbourne heads to Manila.
