In high school baseball Monday, Viola stayed unbeaten with a double header sweep of Hillcrest. The Longhorns won the first game 2-1 and the second game 8-1. The Longhorns improve to 12-0.
Salem was a 9-2 winner over Sloan-Hendrix. The Greyhounds improve to 6-3 on the season.
The Mountain Home 9th grade baseball team picked up an exciting 10-9 at home over the West Plains J.V. team. The Junior Bombers got the game winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning.
They improve to 3-0 on the season.
In high school softball, Salem defeated Sloan-Hendrix 31-3. The Lady Greyhounds are now 8-3 on the year.
