In high school baseball Tuesday, Izard County picked up their first district win with a 13-8 victory at Flippin.
Dylan Tharp had three hits and three RBI for the Cougars, Isaac Jones drove in two runs and Noah Everett had two hits and drove in a run. Chase Orf struck out four in four and a third innings of relief to pick up the win.
Izard County improves to 3-2 overall and 1-2 in the 2A/1A-3.Mammoth Spring went to Cotter and picked up an 11-3 win. The Bears improve to 5-4 overall and 4-2 in the 2A/1A-3 District. The Warriors fall to 2-4.
Dora went to Gainesville and picked up a 10-5 win in eight innings.
