The Mountain Home High School baseball team fought from behind to pick up a win in their opening game of the Best of the West Tournament in Covington, Tennessee Wednesday night. Mountain Home defeated St. Benedict at Auburndale from Cordova, Tennessee 8-7.
The Bombers scored three runs in the top of the sixth to take a 7-5 lead before the Eagles scored twice in the bottom of the sixth to tie the game. Mountain Home was able to come up with a run in the top of the seventh for the win.
The Bombers improve to 3-7 on the season.
